I visited a friend in Laramie last year and we went for a facial and a massage at Cartouche; she is a regular there. It was my very first facial and massage and I was a bit uncomfortable at the whole idea, but a convert when it was over. The atmosphere was relaxing and it was a totally private experience. Darcy was a calming influence and she listened to me about what hurt so she could work on those areas! And I thought I looked amazing when she was done with the facial - not bad for a 70-something woman. I tried to repeat the experience in my hometown (N.Y.C.), while on a cruise, and on vacation in Georgia but it just wasn't the same. Everyone pushed me to buy a product and I felt as if I were in Macy's cosmetics dept. Darcy told me what she was using, but she never pushed any product on me; I never felt awkward about not buying something. I wish I lived closer and could have a girls' day with my friend again. She is a lucky person to have Darcy and Cartouche in town.
