I had several problems with this salon. First, the décor is not impressive. It's rather tacky amateurish and cheap-looking. But since it's a hair salon I will base my rating on the experience and services received:
-The girl that took care of me was busy gossiping with the front desk girl the entire time
- They didn't listen to what I wanted at all, they pushed and pushed whatever they wanted to do on me
-I was very unhappy with the results. The highlights were barely noticeable and not well executed.
-They seem to be all about hiding the problem, NOT fixing it.
-The girl left my hair wet in some parts in the back. I was so unhappy I didn't bother to complain I just wanted to leave ASAP!
-Then she handed me her business card and I saw "Hair kingdom, where your treated like royalty." It said 'your' .... Seriously? Did these people even graduate high school?
Conclusion: DO NOT go to this place, especially if you have a Groupon.

This was the worst salon I have even been too. I asked the hair dresser to dye my hair a warm dark blonde and when she was done it was whitle platinum blonde!!! I was in shock!!! And when I asked for a refund Denise (the owner) didn't wanna give it because she said it was my fault and the stylists fault for not communicating. Well excuse me for not being a hair dresser! I got most of the money back after fighting with her about it and she didnt wanna pay for my shirt which the stylist also ruined when she poured bleach down my back while washing my hair. This salon is garbage and the owner is extremely rude and she was upset I wouldn't trust them to fix my hair after they ruined it. Would you trust them after they did that to you! My hair looked horrible, I cried for hours. Overall this SALON IS CRAP!!!! NEVER GO HERE!!!!! Go to Rudy and Kelly in the Mall they helped fix my hair after this crappy place ruined it!!!!!

Hair Kingdom is the only place I go for my hair cuts, and I live in Camden, NC and drive the hour to Chesapeake, VA just to get my hair cut. And it is worth it!!!! I've tried all the other places in town and only Hair Kingdom talks with me on how I want it cut, the staff are all very nice, and every time I leave I love my hair!!!!!
