I am over 60 and do not like to spend a lot of time on my hair, but I didn't want that regulation short, no-fuss cut so many older women wind up with. When I moved to Charlottesville in 2011, I was ready to cut my long hair but nervous about it. Kathy gave me a terrific haircut, designed for me and my hair. It's very flattering and I get a lot of compliments on it. Kathy won't let me leave without a blowout and my hair always looks great when I leave the salon, but when I do it myself I can just put a little product on it and let it dry naturally, and I still like the way it looks.
Kathy also does color, highlighting, and glossing, and she cuts men's hair as well. The same is true of the other stylist at Hair FX, Debbie (who also gives great haircuts). Both have lots of happy regular clients who wouldn't have their hair done anywhere else.

Kathy gave me the best style and cut that I have had since I moved to Charlottesville ten years ago. She is extremely talented and listens carefully. I am thrilled to have found her.
