I got married on October 25,2013. The week before I went to another salon, a well known salon for my hair and makeup trial. It was awful! I walked into Highlights Salon and spoke to Sheila Catherine the owner. She was extremely helpful, and I could tell immediately she knew what she was doing. I booked my appointment and also booked appointments for my bridesmaids & mother. No trial! I have extremely dark circles, I was concerned that they wouldn't be covered. Not only did Sheila Catherine cover the dark circles, she made me look amazing, flawless, without looking like I had tons of makeup on. My hair came out exactly how I wanted, it was beautiful! I felt amazing!!! I did NOT have to touch up once, my hair & makeup looked perfect all night!!! My bridesmaids & mother looked amazing!I cannot thank Sheila Catherine & her staff enough they are angels with hairbrushes & makeup brushes!!! Amazing!!!

I had the Copolla Keratin Straightening service. My hair looks awesome. i can't beleive how shinney and easy my hair is t style. NO FRIZZ!

I started going to this salon when Salon at the Elms closed. I had been going to Marilyn Koferl there and also had her as my hairdresser for many years prior. I would go to her no matter where she was...Highlights is not bad but there is simply noit enough room for waiting and no one other than Marilyn ever acknowledges that I have arrived - there's rarely a receptionist available and it can be time-consuming to wait to get another appointment so I usually just give marilyn the check and scoot.
As far as marilyn is concerned, she is the best - I do not have asy hair to work with but she makes it look fantastic and she really always listens to what I tell her about my hair. I get compliments all the time on my hair, and believe me, it is not because I have any skill at doing it...it's all thanks to Marilyn.
