I was very nervous to get my lip pierced, but I really wanted it done. I had a great experience with Body Art II a few years ago, so I decided to try Body Art I. The rooms are sterile. The piercer even showed me that the marker used to mark the piercing site was brand new and gave it to me after the piercing to show they don't reuse those. He also opened all the equipment in front of me to show it was sterile.
The piercer Mark made me feel completely comfortable during the piercing. He got me laughing and calmed my nerves down completely.
I wanted the spot to be perfect so that when I wore a ring on the right side of my lip, the ring would fit perfectly. His placing couldn't have been more precise.
It barely hurt. I've had three piercings done at Body Art, and each was a great experience. Highly recommended!!!
