Great Spa! I am never disappointed by the Wingate and have had many services there. I just love the way the old house is and the staff is friendly. I have tried other places but go back so it just is a nice fit for me -I always recommend the place.

I started coming here for Adriana for hair based on a recommendation and have now enjoyed many of their services. I keep coming back to Jen for her facials and waxing. The facial was much better than I had at another spa in Portsmouth so I decided to keep up with Jen. One massage that my husband got me as a Christmas gift - it was wonderful. I believe her name was Carol. Haven't tried the manicures yet but it is only a matter of time!

I have had many good services at the Wingate Salon but yesterday was terrible. I had hair color all over my face and black hair. I just wanted some color remover but rather than a call from my stylist I received a call from the hospitality manager. She was angry rude and and said that I was rude to say I was unhappy with my services. I did not at any point make judgements on my character although she did on mine. I would skip this salon but if you have a problem I would not complain but rather just bring my business elsewhere to avoid an earful of client blaming yelling. This used to be a good salon but now it is shifting towards tatooes, grocery store shampoo, and an attitude of you are there to serve them.

The staff was very nice, the facial was ok but not great. I have had much better skin care treatments. It felt sort of incomplete, not much time was spent on any one part, cleaning, massage, application of the products. It probably depends on who you have, however, for the cost of their services, I don't think I'll return to Wingate.

They saved my hair from a bad experience! Went there for a fix after my neighbor recommended them. Glad I did.
