I had a groupon for Sanctum and as usual with these things, I had no idea what to expect. But with a $22 haircut, I wasn't expecting too much. I was lucky enough to be Tess' only client at the end of the day and we had a very nice time chatting away as she cut, conditioned, and styled my hair. Best haircut I have gotten in years! She listened to everything I asked for in the cut, and the deep conditioning left my hair silky smooth!

I had contacted the stylist two weeks prior to set up my appointment. I show up and she had forgotten and double booked. First she stated that I had never set an appointment but two minutes later said that she remembered speaking to me. She couldn't find her schedule and then proceeded to involve her client (who she had double booked me with) in the discussion stating "she schedule this at the beginning of this week, so there is no way I would have scheduled you". I reminded her that she had scheduled me two weeks earlier. Stylist said that she would "squeeze me in". I told her that I just wasn't comfortable with that. She never acknowledged her mistake and never apologize and didn't even try to reschedule me for a different date. It was a mistake, we all make them....but horrible way to handle it.

I ordered a groupon for this salon and when i called to make the appt, the rep told me she would charge me extra because my hair was too long! It doesnt list the length of hair as a condition in any of the groupon terms or rules. I immediately requested a refund from groupon and my hair is not even that long (3-4 inches past shoulders).
