I've been going to JcPenny Salon for over 3 yrs, on and off. I always recommend this salon to others. It's cleaner than most salons, nice customer service, and my stylist Michelle (senior stylist) knows her craft. I suggest that you request someone that specializes in what you're looking for. As an African American, I just wouldn't go in asking for a risky hair cut/style from any stylist. I want someone with experience of doing what I'm looking for. Other than that, I like this salon and will continue using their services every now and again.

| User Review - Tina G | BAD PERM BY BRAD!! DO NOT GET HAIR DONE BY HIM!!
Worked all day and went in for a nice perm I was thinking! First I get there and wait 10 mins for him and get in seat he's acting like never done hair before and I said to myself Tina just leave but I just thought he was just getting to work . It took hour and half to roll hair and only left on hair 7 mins washed and said all done have great day I get home and when hair dryers the top curly but bottom straight !!!! I can't believe this now my hair all frizz on top and straight as can be on bottom!! DO NOT SEE BRAD JUST DONT GO THERE!!

I love this salon and the people who work there make it fun. They make sure your okay gives you water coffee ect. I get my hair done by Inna. She is awesome and does whatever I want and never complains even if she has to think out side the box to get it done and everytime I end up happy with her service.

I am an African-American female and had the unfortunate experience of getting my hair done by a hair stylist named Jordan. She is a very nice young woman who means well, but did not inform me that she did not know how to straighten my hair. Both times I came to get my hair done, she needed assistance from other people to finish my hair, and even then it took an hour and a half. I was unaware that she was a novice to African American hair, as the first time I had my hair done by her it seemed adequate. I did not know where else to go the next time I needed my hair done so I returned to Jordan. This experience was worst than the first. Jordan succeeded in burning off the whole back of my hair. I was devastated and had to have my hair cut by a different hair stylist. Please be aware if you are an African-American, DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE BY JORDAN!
