I love Grace. I go get my hair done by her every year for the annual Firefighter's Ball in Pittsfield. All I have to do is book the appointment and tell her I want the usual. I get there and she does her magic.

I went to the salon with a gift certificate from a friend, and decided to get a perm. While I was siiting in the salon chair waiting for the perm to take the owner, Grace, talked nonstop about one of her previous customers (a regular) in an extremely derogatory manner. She then started to drop comments about several other customers whose outfits or personalities she didn't agree with. Shame on her! Although I didn't give her much information about myself, I'm sure I was the 'Hot topic' as soon as I was out the door.
She was very up front about receiving 'cash only' for the portion of the perm I received not covered by the gift certificate -very nervy...to say the least.
I won't be going back, and if you choose to go to Alley Cat Hairstyles, be sure to watch yours.
