| User Review - Megan S | 2 trips and still no love
Well, my son took his second trip to Sportsman's. He went with his Grandfather. The first haircut was a disaster. He came home and NOTHING was even or cut correctly. His sideburns were 2 different lengths. We went back, and they could only fix it some without completely shaving his head. That was a year ago. Today, October 25, 2013, we have the same problem. This time I will not be taking him back. I will have to shave his head and start over again. I am also not sure as to who cut it, as my father in law couldn't recall. It is the worst haircut I have ever seen. I could have gone to Cloyd's or Pat Goin's and gotten a better haircut from the students in cosmetology school.

Had some time to kill since I took the day off and thought I would try this place I had heard about on the radio, Sportsmans - The Gentleman's Barber. I got there and fell in love right away with the whole concept of hunting/fishing, lady barbers, and luxury. Try if for yourself and you'll understand the rave.

Ramona fixed my cornchip looking toes that my wife always complains about. I was able to have some privacy while she worked on my feet unlike all the other places that I've seen. Thanks Ramona
Then I got one of the girls to give me the "Trophy Buck" experience I have been hearing so much about. Now I know why everyone is talking about it. She asked me some questions; she cut my hair; and then the fun began: she laid me back and massaged my head while I had a steamy hot towel on my face. WOW!!! I'll be back just for the scalp massage and hot towel!

The marketing I saw said "Where It's All About Men" & "Treated like a KING" and they meant every word of it. I loved the place and the female barbers were very impressive. I had a "Trophy Buck" and a Hot Towel Shave with an old timey Straight Razor, and finally had someone who could take care of the bushy unibrow. They gave me a tour, there is even a private room called the "skinnin' rack" where they do manicures & pedicures for men, but they call them "hand & foot detailing". I can't wait until my hair gets long enough to go back; I'll have to take my son next go around.
