I have used many salons and in the Milford area and contrary to what the other posters complained about I had experienced great pricing and service compared to other salons and every girls that worked there including my stylist seemed to be extremely confident and professional. Since I have been to many different salons I found the pricing average or about the same as other salons but the service and expertise far surpassed any other place I have been to. I will continue my visits to Styles International. The only time my pricing went up is if I changed my formulation and added extra colors. Maybe the posters below should contact the business and ask why the difference in charge instead of going on websites and complaining. Complaining on a website doesn't do nothing for you. It could be a mistake by a person at the register or maybe you changed your service. I speak from experience and the best way to get the answer is to ask when you are being checked out. The final billing has always been a surprise other than the first two visits. i even reduced service to bring down the cost after having it narrated to me and learned differently at the end. I gave time to let the hair dresser get to know me and what i am looking for. While I expected progression, I experienced coloring that was very well done in some areas and what seemed sloppy in others. I have had experience where the hairdresser brushed on color near my face without foils and I needed to return for a fixing. I have held patience and will not return. The salon is over priced and the pricing seems to change again and again. The hair dresser does not listen to what I have to say. I even left with a bleached top. Staff can be friendly but this does not make for good hair results. Very expensive due to poor quality. Not a salon for those who do not wish to listen to the "f" word by a staff member or quarreling right above your head.

I went for a quick trim, just a trim, however, the person I was assigned to (very nice by the way) was unfortunaly very unexperienced. The result a terrible haircut,I had to go to some place alse to have it fixed. The worst and the most expensive haircut ever.

I never felt so unimportant in my whole life.I wasted my whole saturday while heather tried to do 3 clients at once..by the time i sat down she was already done,then she rang me up 220 dollars my jaw nearly dropped to the floor.they said they had 32 workers but i only seen 3 hairdressers?? customers beware !

I've been a customer of Jessica's for several years and what I like about her service is that she listens to what you want, she gives you her undivided attention, and she is a caring person who wants to make you, as her customer, satisfied. She does not try to "sell" products but will recommend what your hair needs. If you want to accept her recommendations, fine...if you do not, she is okay with that. She is a down to earth good person...the best in the shop...I'm in stamford and have no problem driving 1/2 hour to 45 minutes for her service
