My opinion of Adara Salon on Forest Avenue differs vastly with the previous one.
When one walks into the salon, the aromas from the Aveda products calms and relaxes you. I often arrive stressed, and leave feeling tranquil.
I see Danielle for color/highlights/trims and I have had only wonderful experiences. The shampoo and massage is worth the price of the services, which by the way, are very reasonable.
I have noticed that all the stylists are personable with their clients but quiet enough not to disturb the person in the next chair.
Check out the bathroom for the coolest sink and facet that I have ever seen.

Diana is extremely unprofessional. I was a transfer client from someone who left the salon. Upon my SIX hour process with Diana (in 12 years, the longest I've ever been in the chair for the EXACT same process is 3 hours!), she charged me DOUBLE what the other stylist did: they shared the same prices. I had no problem paying the amount but when Diana says that she thought the other stylist undercharged me, she should have discussed the change in fees PRIOR to beginning my hair, not after. I voiced this to her and booked my follow up appt after discussing what the fees would be for a touch up. Diana left a message about 2 weeks prior to my next appt but I could not make it out. I her 4 times and Diana said she would return my call multiple times. She never did and I found out through the receptionist that she canceled my appt.
If you want to spend twice the amount of time and money for hair color and possibly have someone cancel your appt, diana is the person for you!
