My 71yr old blind aunt had an appt. for a hair cut & manicure. She was nervous being new to the area and coming from a salon she had frequented for 29 years. The manicurist never showed up. A stylist offered to do my aunt's nails and we were told by the manager there would be no charge. The the stylist who was to cut her hair was 25 minutes late. In total she waited 50 minutes. When paying she was charged for the manicure and charged full price for the haircut (which was a good cut and style). The owner (who was here through the majority of this ordeal) never intervened. Owners of hair salons I have worked for in the past would have made sure that clients, who whom they had validated received poor service, walked out of there singing the salon's praises because of their admission and consession through price breaks or gift certificates so the client one way or another gives the salon a glowing review. Not like this one. Kudos to the stylist who did help.
